My aim is to make fine, contemporary jewellery for everyday wear. The main body of my work combines silver and gold, often using the two metals together. When the silver is oxidised the result is a distinctive contrast of black and gold. More recently, I have taken my work in a new direction, using enamel to introduce vibrant colour. I also have a range of ‘bee’ jewellery – inspired by the bees I keep on an allotment in North Oxford.
Because I, myself, cannot wear earrings with ear wires I have developed a range of earrings for non-pierced ears which are elegant, lightweight and comfortable.
All of my jewellery is made with meticulous care and attention to detail.
This year I will be exhibiting in a large, airy room. At the same venue, Wendy Newhofer will be in a garden studio exhibiting her magical, kiln-formed glass.
All Covid safety measures will be carefully followed. Email or call to make an appointment to view.
