This years Artweeks Exhibition is a collection of the types of paintings and drawings I like to create.
It is a rather eclectic mix as 2020 was an odd year for my creativity, which honestly came in peaks and troughs as events and challenges at home and around the world unfolded.
I added to my series of ponds and woodland paintings - inspired by the colours of nature, which are already harmonised for us! I also tried to capture some of the wonderful, natural sights in the landscape, such as the opium poppies which grew in abundance in South Oxfordshire during the spring/summer months, and light through the trees in the beech woods. Sightings of wildlife on walks was a source of great joy and you'll see some of those. There will also be some surprise new subjects!
I'll be showing originals of varying sizes, together with mounted giclee prints and greetings cards.
I look forward to welcoming you at St Edmund Campion Church in Watlington.
