This solo exhibition in the heart of South Stoke with be a first for the village. Local artist Barry Kelly will be displaying a wide collection of his most recent contemporary impressionist landscape and seascape paintings. Some are based on local scenes and landscape around the village and the seascapes are mostly devoted to his beloved homeland of the South Hams coastline including the famous and magical Burgh Island. In addition to his finished work, Barry will be painting live in an area of the hall offering interested visitors to ask questions about his methods.
This is a rare opportunity to see Barry’s work here in his home village as he only usually exhibits professionally with 5 galleries across the country.
Do come and make a visit to see this lovely work and soak up the atmosphere of a beautiful Oxfordshire’s summers day celebrated in paint.
