Work is both hand built and wheel thrown and fired in electric kilns. Drawing is an important part of the design process. Birds, chameleons and foliage are applied to each form by drawing through wax with a needle tool. Black copper oxide is then used to emphasise the lines. After first firing, oxides and under glaze colours are applied. Jugs are a favourite form and are constantly evolving. Work is displayed in a purpose built workshop and you are welcome to explore or to sit in the cottage garden.
