Working in my garden studio, I design and make traditional stained glass, using handmade glass, lead, stain and paint. My work is inspired by the Arts and Crafts movement, medieval art, and the glass itself. My designs draw on the natural world, music, and twentieth century printmaking. I also make linocut prints.
Smaller stained glass panels are for sale; bespoke panels and larger windows are made to commission, and can incorporate personal imagery. I also work in kiln-formed glass.
I enjoy teaching students and during Artweeks I will be demonstrating some of the processes of making stained glass.
This year I am looking forward to exhibiting in Oxford Artweeks for the first time, with potter Tam Frishberg. In addition to glass for the interior, I will be showing stained glass for the garden.
