I work in stoneware to handbuild my pots, using either white, crank or black clays to create small, medium and large unique pieces, both functional and sculptural. These are then fired in an electric kiln. My work is frost resistant and is therefore suitable for use both indoors and outside. Working in my studio in Iffley, I am constantly experimenting with different shapes, new glazes and glaze combinations. My ceramics and my skills are constantly evolving as I pursue my fascination with form and texture. My work is perfectly complemented by photographer Rob Farrands' images - monochrome natural and urban landscapes, unified by experiments in tone to create mood and atmosphere.
