The picturesque village of Great Coxwell is playing host to 14 artists and craftspeople over two weekends for Oxfordshire Artweeks. Follow the trail map from the beautiful Great Barn, where the Boys from the Woodshed will demonstrate their green woodworking skills, down to the 12th century church, where you can stock up your garden and allotment from the plant stall. On the way call into the Stable Studio where you will find Karen and Annie with their ceramics and stone carving, the Chicken Barn where Jo, Shelagh and Jacqueline will exhibit mosaics, pastels, paintings and drawings and Peter's Barn where Kath, Isabel and Val will show quilts, painting, digital art and wire modelling. In Chapel House you will find Margaret with her jewellery and in Wayside Cottage Erica will show her upholstered footstools and Pam her paintings. Take a well-earned break in the Reading Room where you can enjoy delicious homemade refreshments all day; teas/coffees, lunches and the most amazing cakes!
