I make large works, & work a bit at the boundaries of etching. Recently I have been using old etching plates to make new & larger pictures as in my Stratford St series. Before I had just used on of the plates as a basis for mono prints as in the “To the Lighthouse ‘ series. Now it’s more variations on a them with the ‘Scaffolding, Christ Church’ & Brentford Canal ones.
As well as something at the Oxford Printmakers Co-operative, where you can see the processes that make prints, I shall have some of the big ones at Ewelme Pottery 11th -19th May. Ewelme is a delightful village; the pottery overlooks a remarkable church & Almshouses.
I exhibit with OPC, OAS & WOA & occasionally further afield.
