I instinctively design jewellery with a natural curiosity, embracing nature and the simple , perfect form. After graduating from Birmingham school of jewellery in 1983, I developed many original collections, experimenting with wood, plastics and metal, sold around the world via trade exhibitions. In 1995 I moved to Oxford to open 'Uniikki' on the Cowley Road. In 2000, I moved to 38 Cowley Road to open Bridget Wheatley Contemporary Jewellery selling work from many other maker's & earning a reputation for gem set rings and striking collections of jewellery. I now work in a purpose built studio at the end of my garden. I now focus on bespoke and one-off pieces. My style remains instinctive with attention to detail, my quality and wear-ability remains unaltered. I will have new collections using satin beryl in roughly finished silver and images of suns and moons made from precious metal clay and lots more. Follow the stepping stone path through the garden to my studio.
