Over the last four years I've become increasingly absorbed by pottery and am lucky enough to have a small studio at the end of my garden. As well as pottery, I am passionate about plants, gardens and growing things; so now I throw pots looking out at the garden. My initial training was in Biosciences means I enjoy some of the more technical aspects of mixing glazes. It is always exciting to open the kiln and see what the latest batch of fired pots looks like.
All my pots are thrown, primarily in earthenware and stoneware, are functional for use in the kitchen and round the house. They are dishwasher and food-safe. I love working with clients on individual commissions to make things they really like.
I am the co-ordinator for the Oxford Anagama project. http://www.oxfordanagama.org
