I originally studied art at Hornsey College of Art and then went on to study Film and Photography at the Regent Street Polytechnic. I have always maintained an interest in photography but only took up colour as a result of the development of digital photography and being able to print high quality colour on an ink jet printer at home (and a portable printer/polaroid when abroad). I am interested in the aesthetics of photography but also in its potential for generating community engagement and social and educational development. I have travelled widely and worked on sustainable development projects in Zambia, Malawi, Uganda, India and Nepal. This year my focus is on how to capture and enhance the aesthetic joys of dance.
