Banbury (North Oxon)

Glass

Ann creates unique kiln-fused glass pieces in her cottage garden studio in the village of Pebworth near Stratford upon Avon.
She is very much influenced by local wildlife and makes free-standing bird sculptures mounted on recycled hardwoods or from the fruit-wood prunings taken from her orchard. In contrast to the birds she also produces delicate, hand-finished gravity-drop vases and bowls, and multi-layered pictures in glass, inspired by extreme landscapes. Her work can be seen along with that of artists Anya Simmons and Lizzie Waterfield at The National Herb Centre. The Centre is a great location for the exhibition and comprises a wonderful bistro, a beautiful garden centre, a nature trail, a mini maze & a play area. It is located on the B4100 just outside Warmington Village, 5 miles north of Banbury and 11 miles south of Warwick.
