Elizabeth is originally from Wales. She studied at Lady Margaret Hall and Wolfson College Oxford, before studying illustration at Chelsea College of Art where her work was shortlist for the prestigious Macmillan Prize. She worked as a graphic designer in the Children's and Schoolbooks Division of Oxford University Press before leaving to set up an animation and motion graphics studio with her husband James.
Elizabeth is a member of Oxford Printmakers' Cooperative, which became a second home for some time as she developed her skills in the ancient art of etching. She now devotes most of her time to printmaking, developing her garden and running her very small small-holding. Consequently, much of her work is drawn from studies of the wildlife and livestock that surround her home, and the adjoining famous Port Meadow in Oxford.
Visitors are also welcome to look at the gardens and birds during their visit too, while enjoying a cup of tea if they so wish (weather permitting).
