kokodama's are Japanese moss balls that can be displayed for decorative purposes inside the house, or hung in a shady place outside the home.
Participants will spend a fun-filled 1 - 1.5 hours in a group setting, where they will make their own Kokodama balls to take home.. This event will be run outdoors and does involve the handling of mud. Safety equipment such as gloves will be provided, however please wear appropriate clothes and footwear for the handling of mud and dirt and various weather conditions.
This event is being offered by Naturehood, Earthwatch in support of St Mary's C of E church display in the Oxford art week. Naturehood support communities and individuals connect to nature in a way that is empowering, supports well-being and community connection.
Please notify the Naturehood representative upon your arrival if you have any plant or pollen allergies OR if you have a cat or dog and you would like a plant that is animal friendly. Parking is limited at the church, however the number 8 bus offers a frequent service with stops within a 2 - 5 minute walk of St Mary's C of E church.
