Scott Schwager is a New York born artist whose art includes painting and walking art, which he has researched. In his collaborative art walks, which he refers to as Walk & Talk, artists and others walk and converse in a particular way through public space. In over 20 Walk&Talks internationally since 2009, a cyclical art method emerged that showed how Walk&Talk differs from ‘walking and talking’ in media, education, politics and other art.
Through walking, creative research, and dialogue, Walk&Talks have connected place, people and art beyond the limits of a gallery, in Canada, Scotland, Slovenia, Spain, Switzerland, and elsewhere, including in the UK.
