My exhibition comprises watercolours of Otmoor and surroundings, including my own garden, that I have created in the past year. I have found lots of inspiration by just walking around at different times of the day and noting how a view that maybe looked rather dull and uninteresting can suddenly come alive with a shaft of late sunlight or a rising mist. I have also been going through my old sketch books and and working on them in a new way to which I may have before. I visited Poland last autumn and the light and colours there at that time of year are always inspiring.
My garden will be open to stroll around. The lake and ponds look especially good in May and the wildflowers will be at their best then so I hope visitors will make the most of their time here.
