A fascination for glass over the years has lead me to spend hours bent at 90 degrees on beaches in search of prized pieces of sea smoothed glass. I then spend hours bent over my collection matching size, colour, thickness and shape to pair up earrings or to graduate a necklace. Recently I have been using a night class to experiment with creating my own ‘seaglass’. The patterns and colours have got me hooked. I have also bought vintage trading beads assembling them with modern Murano glass. I'm hoping to further develop lampwork bead making having taken an introductory course. I am exhibiting pieces of jewellery with elements of these glass techniques combining them with silver.
