Hello! — I am exhibiting my paintings in the wonderful light-filled West OxArts Gallery in Bampton, west Oxfordshire for the whole of Artweeks, 30th April to 5th June. This is venue 381.
As well as Bampton you can also see my work at Derwent House in Witney, venue 365, which is an exciting new interiors shop showcasing the very best of British talent, craftsmanship and bespoke furniture: derwenthouseliving.co.uk/
And lastly if you're in Oxford, I am thrilled to have been selected to show one painting at The Jam Factory, venue 1.
Enjoy! :))
Sarah is a contemporary figurative oil painter working from life in her attic studio under natural light or en-plein air in the Cotswolds.
Her paintings are about honest observation. Whilst exploring the subtle tonal relationships of colour and light, she endeavours to interpret what she see’s as true to nature in a painterly yet refined way.
Sarah was born in 1974 in Devon and after gaining a first-class degree in Fine Art following an art foundation course, she took off traveling through China, Tibet and Japan and ended up living on a junk in Hong Kong. Upon returning to the UK, via Mongolia and Russia she worked as a children’s book designer and art director for an Oxford publisher for twenty years.
Sarah has exhibited and sold work at The Minster Gallery, Winchester, The Coln Gallery Fairford & Cirencester, Sarah Wiseman Gallery and the Ashmolean Café, Oxford, WestOxArts Gallery, Oxfordshire and abroad in Villefranche, France.
