An exciting new collection of contemporary Jewellery handmade using traditional methods. The collection includes silver and gold rings, earrings, pendants, bangles and bracelets, with some pieces set with gemstones. Each piece of jewellery is unique and one of a kind and can be a brilliant Birthday/anniversary or Christening gift. If you like my work and have an idea for a special piece of jewellery, I am always open for commissions. I will be on site for most of the week to talk about my work and the methods I use.
I work from my home studio in Oxfordshire with my studio dog under my bench. I have recently moved to the area and have found great inspiration in being surrounded by so many talented local artists. My main career was working in the art world in London, however after having children, I studied at Kingham Jewellery School and I found a passion for making beautiful creations out of silver and gold. I use traditional methods of sawing, filing, hammering, soldering and polishing. I love the way you can shape the metal to allow the light to interact with the surface, I take inspiration from from my favourite sculptors Constantin Brancusi and Anish Kapoor. I am also interested in the energies and healing properties of the stones I set.
