This year I have explored my passion for painting flowers and gardens with the intention of creating depth and intensity. A vibrant use of colour and loose application of paint enable me to capture the essence of freedom and calm. Also, the random abandon one sees in a beautiful garden or bouquet of flowers.
Artist information:
Faye paints with acrylics and mixed media. Working from her home studio amidst the Berkshire countryside, she cannot help but take inspiration from the local flora and fauna. The seasonal shifts of the landscape provides a never-ending source of beauty to be captured.
Faye's mantra is "Be in touch with nature." She aims to communicate a sense of calmness and freedom. Nature is a wonderful gift we must share with ourselves and others!
