I work across many different mediums to create images that reflect my understanding of the world in which I live. My passion for colour can also be seen in my paintings and glass work. Whilst I create visual images of how I understand the world, I also explore sculpture, print and photography; sometimes, I connect all media to create a desired and layered effect. The result is therefore an eclectic mix of artwork, and although personal is accessible to all.
My work will be exhibited in my garden studio and conservatory where you are welcome to browse.
A previous career as a hairdresser, using the idea of sculpture and colour, has influenced my decision to follow an artistic path. I have graduated from Oxford Brookes University with a degree in Fine Art in 2020 where I developed a haptic approach to my work. I am currently studying part time for a MFA, completing the course later this year.
Along side my studies, I am part of the front of house team at Modern Art Oxford and I also have a role with the creative learning team, facilitating in the creative space.
