I am showing over thirty of my paintings in my (well ventilated!) studio/gallery, which is above the double garage next to our house. The paintings range widely from colourful local landscapes to abstract designs.
My love of walking in the countryside, using maps to explore new terrain, inspires me to paint pathways through various landscapes. Some of my paintings relate to labyrinths, challenging the walker to reach a goal.
My career background was in physics and mathematics, but on retirement I followed my long-time love of painting and gained a B.A.Hons in Fine Art.
So now I paint entirely for my own pleasure, usually using just my imagination. I love experimenting with the interaction of different colours and shapes.
