I'll be exhibiting water colours with two themes. The first is "Inside looking out". I've drawn on sketches made every day on my permitted lockdown exercise around Cuddesdon last year. I've combined them with still lives looking through a window at the scene as a record of last year. Secondly it's "A tale of two cities" which is a very loose pictorial comparison of two medieval cities - Oxford and Marrakech.
I'm principally an urban sketcher, normally out once a week or so with the Oxford group (Find us on Facebook). When I travel, I take out my sketchbook rather than a camera. I think you see more and definitely meet more people that way. At home, I work some of the sketches into more finished paintings, which I'll be exhibiting.
