I will be exhibiting with Sally Levell for the third time in her lovely 18th Century Basement Gallery in Tree Lane Iffley. My inspiration is being in truly wild places or nearer to home seeing the transformative power of nature.
I am excited by the forms and structure of the landscape and of trees and flowers. The effect of the low light of Dawn and Dusk create a new and ever-changing world.
I have worked at the Oxford Printmakers Co-operative for over 25years. It has been a wonderful place to develop my printmaking practice.I had studied Sculpture, and then taught Art in Oxfordshire , firstly at a secondary school and then in Adult Education, before discovering etching. Each etching is a journey for me, with a story.
