Most of the work exhibited has been created during lockdown and this is reflected in it's inspiration. From my local landscape and my home environment, to revisiting material in old sketchbooks. My love of colour, shape and pattern remains and I have particularly enjoyed continuing to experiment with paper cut-outs. These have now taken a new direction as I re-examine some work from student days, the integration of text and image in art. Using some of my original poems and adding some new, I have been weaving these in as part of the creative process. Add to the mix a few pastels and oil paintings, I hope that visitors will find plenty to appreciate.
For the safety of all, we will have a one way system in place and numbers will be limited in the venue at any one time. Additionally the rooms will be well ventilated and we request that visitors wear facemasks. Relax in the garden whilst waiting and enjoy the peace and quiet of the local surroundings.
