This year my exhibition will be on-line. It is not possible to keep a safe distance at the workshops.
My photography is of the natural world, showing its beauty rather rather than its downsides. This year I've collated sea horizons and sea textures from many years and put them together in flip books.

I have written several flipbooks. The Artweeks 2021 ones are
and a catalogue of some of the prints I have currently available at
I have been taking and printing landscape photographs since age 13. My style has changed many times over the years, ranging from black and white photography, close up details of the ground and vegetation, and more minimalist landscapes and seascapes.
My inspiration has always come from land, sea and sky, but the composition and style has always been influenced by impressionist and abstracted paintings rather than other photography. The images are simple in composition but convey the feeling of the place they were taken, often by framing multiple prints together. They all aim to show the beauty of the natural world and the great outdoors.
I have combined photography with a career in research, including working for the Countryside Agency. I am currently a research associate with the University of Oxford.
