I am delighted to be exhibiting in Oxford Art Weeks 2021. This will be my third year and I am so happy to be showing my work once again at West Ox Arts Gallery, Bampton, along with a fantastic group of other artists. The wonderful spring and summer weather we had last year meant I spent more time outside and so my garden and the countryside surrounding my home influenced my work for this years exhibition. Florals are heavily featured along with another favourite subject of mine, Wild Swimming. All paintings are in acrylics.
I have always been creative and interested in art but didn’t begin painting until 2018. Since then I have exhibited at West Ox Arts, Bampton in several group exhibitions, and for Oxford Art Weeks 2019 and 2020. Last year I also exhibited virtually with WBNH Open Studios, The Newbury Art Group and Farringdon Art Society.
I began painting using acrylics but recently I have started to explore oils and mixed media. I’m very excited to see where these new mediums will lead me and in what direction my art will go next.
