David Pollock’s work is based in strong observational drawing, coupled with translucent and free running watercolour.... illustrations of people and places, familiar and exotic.
His pictures are held in several collections including those of Wolfson College, Oxford, which saw a major retrospective exhibition of his work in 2017, and Dulwich College.
He published a collection of his travel pictures, “Journeys” in 2018. A facsimile of his Galapagos sketchbook is expected to be published in 2021.
David was Chairman of the Artweeks Festival for several years.
