I am exhibiting at Complins Close, Orxford, site 132 and as part of the Oxfordshire Craft Guild and Friends Group at the The Town Hall, Chipping Norton, site 12
My constant search is for elegance and all my jewellery aims at enhancing the simplest attire. My designs are both bold and understated and each piece is carefully crafted from sterling silver and embellished with precious stones and gold accents. All of my pieces are designed with the aim of being versatile and practical, yet eye-catching.
I am especially fond of my trademark moiré silk and my recent moonscape finishes, that can be either very subtle or very pronounced. I love to make pieces with a sense of contemporary design guaranteed to enhance the simplest attire.
This exhibition contains some of my most cherished pieces: my running ovals necklace with Keum Boo accents, my running squares necklace with moiré silk finish and some of my hammered chains and earrings which dance as you walk. Then there are the rings. Then there are the rings: the dotty ring with ogive shaped blue topaz, my latest "grapes" rings with stones in different shapes and colour. I love the shine of silver with the gold dots and the shimmery surfaces of my moiré silk finish. I also love etching the surfaces since I never quite know what will happen. Sometimes, when I forget that a pice is being etched, I end up with "lace" to be then soldered on another piece of silver.
Have a look at my flipbook where you can have a better idea of the span of my collection.
