Stepping into my studio, you may find me in the process of restoring a painting, it can be a spectacular work process, but maybe nothing exciting happens just dries the painting or straightens under weights.
That's when I sit at the other table and do creative things, or make jewelry mostly using recycled bicycle inner tube. I draw or paint colourful, abstract paintings inspired by old houses (rust and patina) and sense of the nature.
It's often the colours or moods of the paintings I have that inspire me to create, but often the memories.
I was born in Budapest, moved from Hungary to the UK in 2019. I graduated as a painting conservator in 2009 from the Hungarian University of Fine Arts and for almost twenty years has been working in this field, restoring museum pieces, frescoes and paintings for private clients. (The studios sees a fantastic array of works come through my studio door!)
I exhibited internationally, including in Rome, Budapest and Vac in my own right; creating paintings, sketches, illustrations and surface pattern design inspired by beauty, colour, mood, music and a sense of narrative.
Last year I started doing a whole new thing : making jewellery.
