Exhibition information

My landscape work is influenced by the Oxfordshire Countryside and the Pembrokeshire coast. I’m drawn to ideas around memories and the past and how this imprints on our experience of the land today. My work tends to be semi abstract with colour and shape manipulated to convey mood and atmosphere. I work in a variety of media as I develop the layers of the painting; I usually complete the work in oils as I like the glow of oil paint for the finish.
