Exhibition information

I make mostly functional stoneware in my garden studio. I am interested in form – the comfort in a mug that fits the hand, the way a bowl frames and ornament its contents. A platter that displays food made to share. I use slips and oxides to ornament different clay combinations.

Artist information

A professional singer for thirty years, I divide my life between music and clay. Giving up my singing teaching practice I hoped to spend more time with clay, but that is still work inn progress! I am beginning to teach pottery at home though, and plan to expand this during the next year.
