Exhibition information

This year I have a mixed exhibition for Artweeks. I have been working on fairly traditional views of Abingdon in watercolour but have also been experimenting with charcoal and pastels. Alongside these mediums I have been continuing with more collages of the Oxford skyline, including ‘Roman Oxford’, ’Women of Oxford’, ‘Birds of Oxford’ , ’Oxford in Animals’ and even ‘Oxford in Toys’. This year, I will also have my jewellery for sale during Artweeks. I love searching for interesting and different old beads, and then giving them a new life mixed with other beads, in necklaces and earrings.

Artist information

Having started with watercolours, I have since branched out into collage, acrylic, sometimes traditional, sometimes less traditional….. I have been participating in Artweeks for quite a few years now, as well as selling at local craft markets. I always try to have a range of pictures on offer, in different mediums (watercolour, acrylic, collage) and sizes, some framed some just mounted. I also have a varied range of limited edition giclee prints and cards of my work. When not painting I enjoy making jewellery from old beads, recycled, and will be selling necklaces and earrings at this year’s Artweeks.

Upcoming craft fairs where I shall be exhibiting and selling:

9th & 10th May, Dorchester Abbey food and gift fair. (All day on Sat and afternoon on Sun). Original artwork, prints, cards.
