Exhibition information

I am a landscape artist inspired by wild and ancient places. My paintings are expressive and intuitive, and respond to
the light, atmosphere and topography of the natural world. I take great joy in the variety of colours and textures in the landscape and try to bring this variety of mark making into my paintings. I love drawing and painting outside, and being able to react to the landscape, playing with loose, immediate brush marks.

Artist information

My studio is in my home in Cholsey and is where I make most of my paintings, often working from photographs and sketches created outside on location.

I’m also an associate member of Ayres House Studios in Wallingford. I greatly value the support and community that being involved with the studio brings.

I graduated with a degree in Fine Art from Norwich University of the Arts in 2012. Previous shows include the Royal Watercolour Society Open (winner; Cotswolds Mount Prize) 2023, the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition 2020, Holly Bush Emerging Woman Painter Prize 2020 and the Sunday Times Watercolour Competition 2019.
