Exhibition information

Working primarily in stoneware, I explore rich, layered glazes and tactile surfaces. My work is rooted in the belief that handmade objects carry presence and love. From softly glazed bowls to intimate cups and seasonal pieces.

Artist information

I am a fledgling potter based in Banbury. I discovered ceramics two years ago, when I started a weekly class at Fired up studios, I have been hooked ever since. I try to practise throwing, trimming or refining my pots every day. I love experimenting with texture and colour to create functional stoneware that celebrates everyday ritual.

My background is in food and I spent many years as a Home Economics teacher. I feel a special pleasure in serving food to those I love on pieces shaped by my own hands.
