Linda Whaley is a contemporary abstract artist. Her current series explores her deep rooted love of indigo textiles and a creative philosophy that welcomes the unexpected. Resulting in artworks that resist perfection, combining intension with those unrepeatable unexpected moments that emerge during the process. Linda will be showing work in a variety of palettes and mediums, including pigment with a soya milk binder, acrylic, watercolour, charcoal and ink.
Captivated by colour, texture and pattern from an early age, Linda Whaley headed straight to art school at 16. After a 2 year Foundation Course and a 4 year Degree, she graduated with a BA Hons Degree in Fashion and Textiles from Brighton University.
