Exhibition information

My exhibition , as always will be exciting energetic and joyous. There is always the feeling of movement and expanse as in the real world, even if the image is abstracted. I hope that you will feel the beauty beyond and particularly  the depth and constant movement even in a calm day. Come and feel the work in your senses

Artist information

Originally I trained and worked as a picture restorer for a studio working for London galleries. Following this, I decided to go to art college where I got my Degree in fine art, although at that time my work was print making, loving even then, the abstract  shape alongside photographic images. After leaving college I married and continued to restore pictures as money was needed! But after my family grew up I was called back to painting and started with watercolour classes. But my work even then was too spontaneous and having discovered acrylics, I threw myself into the wondrous versatility of that medium. I love that it is a quick drying medium as I can work several layers in one session, sometimes adding pastel lines and even collage. i am always keen to keep experimenting and never standing still
