Driven by a passion to make, I am always excited by the possibilities of creating art from clay; the opportunities seem limitless! Working from my studio, I usually start with a shape and form that I find interesting by throwing, coiling or slab building Then, using a range of glazing and decorative techniques including mark making, surface texturing and placement of colour using slips, underglazes, engobes and oxides, I embellish the forms to enhance their details. I will show the best of my work that I have created this year.
