Artist information

I am a collage artist based in Jericho, making hand-cut paper collages. I live with my husband, two teenage kids, dog, and two cats and I also teach art history. I discovered collaging about four years ago. I love settling down with a pile of old books and magazines, not knowing what images will catch my eye, what I’ll combine them with, or what new images I’ll produce. The element of chance is quite liberating…and fun! Much of my work is grounded in art history and many pieces have a feminist theme, which I always try to express with humour and a bit of whimsy.

Exhibition information

I make hand-cut, paper collages, recycling old books and magazines. I exhibit as part of the East Oxford Art Collective, a group of twelve artists, all with very different practices, but equally brilliant!
