Artweeks in Chipping Norton
Artists from all over the Chipping Norton area will be exhibiting their work as part of Oxfordshire Artweeks from May 10th–18th, every day from 12:00 to 18:00. Look out for the Chipping Norton area ‘trail map’ showing all the artist’s sites and where to find them, which will be available from the bookshop and Town Hall, in addition to the usual Artweeks guides. Starting on May 3rd, there’ll be a taster exhibit of photographs of the artists at work. This will take place in the upstairs gallery at Jaffe and Neale’s bookshop and café in Chipping Norton Market Square.
Artweeks runs throughout Oxfordshire from 3rd to 26th May. The first week is in the south of the county, the second in the north and the third week in Oxford. More than 400 art exhibitions plus special events, workshops and walking tours are taking place and the best way to navigate your way around Artweeks is to pick up a free Guide, available from libraries, Tourist Information Centres, museums, galleries, shops and many other public venues.
