A Craftsman’s Progress: shaping a sustainable future in wood. Philip Koomen has been designing and making furniture for a living since 1975, recently completing a PhD in Sustainable Furniture Design. He will talk about how craftsmanship has enabled him to explore the relationship between spirituality, creativity and ecology, and how the teachings of the Ba'hai faith have inspired him in his creation of a sustainable business enterprise.
