Welcome to the Oxfordshire Visual Arts Festival ‘Artweeks’
The 2009 Festival has now ended and the Artweeks’ office will be closed over the summer from 29th June until 4th September, when preparations for 2010 will begin. Entry and membership forms for 2010 will be available from this site and from the office from the end of September. During May each year, Oxfordshire artists and crafts people open their homes and studios to the public to share their art. There are around 400 stunning exhibitions throughout the county, some in larger public spaces, and entry is free to all of them. This is a unique opportunity to meet the artists, to talk about their work, watch demonstrations and even try your hand and have a go yourself! There’s a wide variety of media including painting, photography, textiles, sculpture, ceramics, furniture, glass, mosaics, jewellery, and much more.
Free Guides to the event are available from the beginning of April each year from many outlets around the county, but you can still download a copy of the Guide for the 2009 festival using the links below.
